I don’t know about you, but I’m always on the hunt for an at home facial that is comparable to a Microdermabrasion treatment. I’ve tried the best of the best facial scrubs and a few at-home devices, but nothing has even really compared to me going to the spa and getting a pricey Microdermabrasion facial. That was until I tried Personal MicroDerm’s Microdermabrasion System which comes pretty darn close to the real thing.
I’m such a fan of Microdermabrasion because I think it’s one of the few facials that benefit your skin long after you’ve stepped out of the spa. The same goes for Personal MicroDerm. Microdermabrasion works by aggressively exfoliating your skin (doesn’t sound good, but it is) which increases cell turnover rate and in turn stimulates collagen production resulting in younger-looking skin! By sloughing off dead skin cells, Microdermabrasion treatments help your skin care products absorb better. And Personal MicroDerm works the exact same way.
To be perfectly honest, I was not expecting to like my Personal MicroDerm as much as I did. Once you make it through the video (which is a little boring, but necessary to watch) I promise you will love this thing! Just like Microdermabrasion treatments I’ve experienced at spas, this device has helped even my skin tone and reduces pigmentation from acne scars. Plus, my skin is softer. Personal MicroDerm utilizes the same aluminum oxide crystals used in professional treatments to polish skin and achieve the same fabulous results! It’s easy to use and costs WAY less than going to the spa overtime.
I promise you’ll love this thing as much as do! It seems expensive, but it really isn’t in comparison to professional treatments. You’ll notice that your skin is smoother, more supple and glowing right away! Just follow directions and don’t use it after you shower—your skin is way too sensitive from the steam. If you go outside after using, definitely wear SPF and a hat to protect your skin.
I’m super excited for everyone to try Personal MicroDerm because I really think it’s awesome and a wonderful, at-home alternative to Microdermabrasion. Give it a shot and let me know what you think!
