Creating a line of high quality, all natural hair and skincare products for babies and children was Kate Solomen’s dream. She believes that what goes on children’s bodies should be as natural as what goes into their mouths. This was her inspiration for Babo Botanicals, named after her son’s security bunny ‘Babo’.
Babo Botanicals is a sulfate-free, collection made entirely on a certified organic farm that sources the highest quality botanicals from around the world . The collection contains the certified organic Nutri-Soothe™ blend exclusively designed for a baby or child’s delicate skin to achieve optimal protection. A combination of chamomile, calendula, kudzu and watercress, rich in vitamin A, C and D delivers maximum nutrients, protection and moisture. These products are great for the entire family to use.
A few of our “Mom Staffers” gave these products a try on their own children/families to give us the scoop on this collection:
Jennifer Saul-Product Development:
Babo offers a great range of bath and body care products for infants and kids that address a number of skin and hair care concerns. From calming, soothing skin care to lice repelling shampoo, Babo has an organic solution to help every mom with their little ones needs. I really liked how many options they had. Most products I feel are best for children ages 2 and up. They pack a lot of really great organic ingredients in their products. My favorite was their lavender and meadowsweet product range.
Alexandra Marsh-Direct Marketing:
My favorites are the oatmeal shampoo and oatmeal lotion. I really liked that the shampoo doesn’t have a strong scent that I have found way too many times with other baby products. It had a smooth consistency which made it easy to lather and was really gentle on his skin so that’s always an A+ for me! The packaging was cute too, another plus!
I loved how moisturizing the oatmeal lotion felt as I put it on my son. He has sensitive skin so it was great that this was organic and natural – and he didn’t break out at all after using it. The smell was very mild which was also appealing. I will continue to use this on him as I am happy with the results thus far.
