Banish Breakouts

Acne or breakouts can be caused by a number of factors such as blocked follicles of the skin, due to increase of sebum, genetics, puberty and fluctuations in hormones, stress, bacteria in the follicles. Once your follicles or pores become blocked they form skin lesions called blackheads and whiteheads. Once the acne bacterium enters these follicles skin lesions called papules, pustules and nodules form, thus causing inflammation of the skin.

Acne can be extremely difficult to treat and in the meantime inflicts stress on the person and affects the person’s self-esteem.

Treating the breakouts with the proper at home regimen is essential in reducing acne. The CosMedix product line offers a range of excellent products that treat acne. The following products make up a great regime for at-home. The CosMedix Purity Clean is a great cleanser for morning and night and should be followed with the CosMedix Purity Balance. To treat the breakouts directly CosMedix Clarity Serum should be used before the daily moisturizer CosMedix Phytoclear. In addition to this regimen a weekly mask can be extremely helpful in reducing breakouts and in reducing excess sebum of the skin. CosMedix Clear works perfectly for oily and acneic skins. Daily supplements, such as CosMedix Clarity Supplement, are an essential part of your home regimen. Supplements treat acne by working from the inside out to purify the body and regulate acneic issues.

Banishing breakouts, as mentioned, can be a hard process. But with this regimen your acne should clear up in no time!
