Just last week I attended a Colorescience seminar at the Westin Hotel in Los Angeles, CA and I learned a great deal about the brand and how amazing their primers are. I have played with the Skin Mattifying Primer SPF 20 a.k.a Chocolate Mousse a few times and I love it! It has a great chocolate scent and it does look a bit dark when you apply it to the skin but it blends beautifully. You’ll never even know it was a dark primer to begin with. Another one of my favorites that gave me that beautiful J.Lo glow was the Skin Bronzing Primer SPF 20 a.k.a. Wild to Mild. At the seminar I had the chance to put the Skin Bronzing Primer on one side of my face and the Skin Calming Primer SPF 20 -About Face on the other half and you could tell such a huge difference. The Skin Bronzing Primer gave more color to my face and it looked almost as if the contours of my face were more visible and the Skin Calming Primer instantly made the redness I get around my nose and on my cheeks less visible. I was completely sold once the product was placed on my face.
Many of us are unfamiliar with using primers in our everyday skincare and makeup regimens. But if you want a flawless face, primer is crucial. I’ve used plenty of primers and I have yet to find the perfect one. What I liked so much about the Colorescience primers is that you are able to build on the product as well as wear it alone if you aren’t a primer then foundation kind of person. Also if you want to just wear the primer alone you can apply their Sunforgettable Mineral Powder Brush SPF 30 for a bit more of a cosmetic touch to your day time looks without the heavy feeling of too much makeup.
Overall I just wanted to share how great these primers are. There are 6 different types that you can choose from depending on your skin type. If you haven’t tried it you definitely need to jump on the Colorescience band wagon to try these products out for yourself and to really reap the benefits of such an amazing brand and product.
