Spring into action and enjoy the benefits of a sunscreen and a custom color for your face.  I’ve had a lot of success with mixing Vivant Skin Care’s Day Treatment Lotion SPF 15 with pure, dry mineral powder to create a dramatic nighttime or softened daytime look, which gives me an additional SPF to save my skin from the sun and is non-comedogenic. No acne breakouts with this color. Men love it too because it doesn’t have a made-up look.

Place about a nickel-sized amount of Day Treatment Lotion with SPF 15 in the palm of the hand and gradually start mixing in mineral powder until you get the desired shade of color.  Rub it over the entire face and blend under the jaw line.  If you want to emphasize areas of the face or to create shading, you can use more or less mineral powder in a smaller amount of Day Treatment Lotion, depending upon the desired look. For my rosacea areas, I add a little green color to drown out the redness.  It is important that the mineral powder doesn’t contain talc, which doesn’t mix well.

Play with this combination and know that you are getting three benefits in one: a custom color, an enhanced SPF factor and a light, non-comedogenic moisturizer.  This mixture can be used safely by all skin types, including ethnic skin. I have experienced no skin irritation or dryness.
