I feel young and energized when my sweet dog, Riley, and I finish our round of pet-assisted visitation therapy at a local skill nursing facility and residence. Spreading plenty of smiles, laughter, and patient understanding goes a long way to boost all of us and keep us feeling playful!

Funny you should ask… When a 20 year old is shocked to find out (via facebook) that I am significantly older than him!!! I guess I am well-preserved. That or I’m totally immature. Either way, sure made me feel young and sassy!!!

What makes me feel young and keeps me looking young is attiude, knowledge, and skill.

Being curious and open is an the attitude of youth. Learning and applying it is knowledge and skill which is also what we do when we are young and should nver stop. All of this put together makes us feel young despite the number of years we have. :o )

Being older and partly disabled, I thrive when I feel I look good. Good skin care products give me a boost, along with having my hair look good, cut and style. I also love good clothes and always feel great if I have on a new outfit and nice perfume. You’re never too old to want these things and it’m my way to think young and hip!

Lots of things make me feel young. Great family friends. Using great skincare and makeup makes me look younger and than I feel younger as I look in the mirror.
My #1 makes me feel young is my little 5 year old son. 19 yrs of trying to have a child and being told I could never get pregnant the normal way, where the worst words I ever heard.
Than in my late 30′s I heard the most beautiful words- you are pregnant. Now at 44 my special boy keeps and makes me feel young.

Feeling young…mostly is my state of mind. I still have a lot of energy and refuse to slow down. I’m willing to try new things and try not to get into a rut. My kids are teens and I’m older than most of their friend’s parents. I’ve taken care of my skin over the years. After my divorce when I started going out again, I had several people think I was late 30′s or early 40′s instead of 47-48. I love that!

What makes me feel young is exercising, eating properly, using wonderful skincare products that keep my skin young and dewey, having regular microdermabrasion treatments to get rid of dead skin cells, definitely always staying out of the sun, thinking positive, being very spiritual, always searching for that deeper meaning in life and trying to never sweat the small stuff.

What makes me feel young and energized is looking good, feeling good and chasing after my two precious dogs. They bring back the times when I was chasing my kids around the house and yard and remind me of those years of long ago, although it doesn’t seem as long as it actually is. We got a new puppy last year and he has kept us active (very) and is the light of my life right now since I’m 2400 miles from my family and grandchildren.

What makes me feel young is challenging myself in every aspect of my life. I like going hiking alone or with one other person, no make up, hair pulled back and off my face, no head phones, no talking, just meditating and appreciating nature and all the beauty in the world. After returning from a challenging hike, I feel like I’m glowing, so young and beautiful both inside and out!

Doing art projects with my nieces and nephew makes me feel young — I feel honored that they look forward to the days I come to their home to do art stuff with them. My little nephew is only 5 and he delights that I draw Darth Vader for him to color in himself. Just being around these young children keeps me feeling VERY young.
