Since 1998, Kelo-cote has provided advanced therapy to scars of all types: hypertrophic, keloid, trauma, surgery, acne and burns. A favorite among doctors and patients worldwide, Kelo-cote has been clinically proven to reduce the redness, hardness, elevation, itch and discomfort associated with scars while restoring confidence in those embarrassed by them.

The key technology behind it is its patented Siliclear Complex™, which forms a breathable, waterproof, non-sticky layer onto the skin. It’s also suitable for children and those with sensitive skin.

Together with Belli Skin Care, its affiliated brand for new and expecting mothers, Kelo-cote delivers safe, comprehensive skin care solutions and exceptional results.

Worst scar I have is on my chin. It was an accident but someone swung around with keys in their hands and the force of their arm caused a key to dig into my chin. It was very bloody but not bad enough to get stitches. It has been years and the scar is still there.

When I was young, the stairs behind my apartment building had a ramp, so I decided to roller-skate down the ramp. Needless to say, that did not turn out too well. I fell and scraped my hand on the concrete wall next to the ramp, and still have a slight scar.

I actually have many many scars. My femurs were broken as a child and I had to have pins place in them which left scars on both legs. I also have a big scar on the back of my right calf, I was outside with my dog on a retractable leash. The leash was wrapped around my leg and he took off after a bunny and I got a deep cut from the leash!

I was parasailing and the cable snapped taking a chunk out of my hairline with it. Blood soaked hair didn’t stop the doctor from telling me not to wash my hair for a few days. Thirty years later and it is still a visable reminder of how close I came to dying.

I lost my job few years ago. I was really overwhelmed and couldn’t handle the pressure. So it reflected my health. My doctor diagnosed me high cholesterol and prescribed medicine for cholesterol. Taking the medicine caused a side effect. I’ve got really bad acne on my face. About six months later, I got my health back but acne left permanent scars on my face. When I look in the mirror, I wish I wouldn’t see them. It reminds me, how I was unhappy.

This was my first year as a tennis instructor and I was one of the little kid’s double players and the ball came up short (right by the net) and I sprinted to get to it, not realizing how close I was to the actual net, tried to stop myself and literally flipped over the net scraping my jaw and chin all across the hard tennis courts. There was a physical scar and the little kids never let me live that one down. Everyday they’d ask me if I ran into any more nets lately.

I was over at my best friends house when I was 10 and there was this huge hill that looked awesome. We wanted to ride our bikes down that HUGE hill because at 10 years old that’s the kind of stuff we were in to. As I was riding my bike down the hill, I noticed that there was an intersection at the bottom and it hit me that a car could be driving past just as I’m coming down the hill. So I slammed the breaks on the bike which made the bike flip over and I scraped every part of my body down the rest of the hill. I have scars on my knee, chin, fingers, and elbows that you can still see to this day.

I was with my daughter at the ice skating rink and we had just finished skating and turned in our rentals. We had changed to sandals because that was what we came there in. There happened to be a big door with a metal bottom and as we were about to open that door someone from the other side had pushed it towards me so that that metal part exactly hit where my bare open toe was and literally clipped my toe nail and lifted it off. Ever since then I’ve been afraid to walk near doors with sandals on.

My biggest scar moment was when I took my daughter to the mall. She was only 5 years old and we were at the toy store. We were looking at a couple of toys and she was right next to me. Then I began to grab a toy and from the top shelf and asked her if she wanted the ballerina doll or the rock star doll and when she didn’t reply I looked down and she was gone. I went through a moment of shock and was thinking the worst. I went frantic screaming her name and running through the aisles. It turns out that she just went one lane over because she found another doll that she wanted. The feeling that you may never see your child is one of the worst feelings a parent can ever go through.

I have a scar from stitches in the area between my thumb and pointer finger. A piece of glass got wedged there when I was about 4 years old when trying to remove a “message” from a large glass bottle. I got scolded for putting the message in the bottle and was trying to retrieve it. LOL – my Mom still feels bad about the whole incident. But that bottle would have been worth big bucks today.

When I was about 10 years old, I went bicycling with some friends and there were a few boys with us. The boys made this ramp and were going off it with there bikes and dared me to go. I didn’t want to go at first but then again I didn’t want to look afraid or a “chicken” back then so I gave it a try. I went off the ramp but didn’t land right and ended up sliding on the concrete where my arm was cut open pretty bad. I had to go to the hospital and get a few stitches and have a small scar on my arm. This is the only scar story I can remember.

I have stretch marks on my breast and hips. I became anorexic at a young age when it was never heard of. The doctors put me on a lot of meds, and feed me tons of milkshakes. I went from 100 pounds to 150 in one month. I was always ashamed to take my bra off. I had two son’s and no scars. But the scars from what the doctors did will haunt me for life. Oh yes, they told my parents that I was insane and locked me up in an insane hospital where the truly insane people go and the criminally insane. I surviced by eating until they released me.

I have been dealing with acne scars on my face for approximately 25 years now. I have spent thousands of dollars on over-the-counter and prescription medication and nothing has helped. The scars have caused me to be somewhat introverted because of the embarrassment. I am always thinking that people are staring at them while I’m talking so I become very shy and try to end the conversation quickly. My 4 year-old daughter has asked about them and that too has caused alot of embarrassment. I’d love to know if this product is any different from all that I’ve tried over the years.

In the mean while the forgotten canine preceded to have horrible diarrhea all over the carpet by the front door! Strange looks from the ER staff and 11 stitches later, I still have quite the impressive scar but at least it is thin and not a wide gnarly one. I was cooking and reinventing so leftover potato and veggie bake, but unfortunately I forgot there were hard boiled eggs in the mix. Well I decided to spruce up the mixture by pan frying them semi-latke style. That’s when the rubbery little devil of a egg white decided to make contact with the oil and catapult itself out of the pan and somehow into my shirt and onto my breast where it stubbornly clung until it made its mark. Needless to say it was a slightly awkward visit to the health center when I had to explain how I got such a severe burn on my chest.

I absolutely adore animals and one day when I was checking the mailbox I saw this little dog just running around. I wasn’t scared at the time because the dog looked harmless and I just love dogs so much that I didn’t even think about being afraid. The dog was coming closer and you can tell when a dog is not having a good day and isn’t going to be friendly towards you. It was barking its head off and had this ferocious look in its eyes. I was running in the other direction, and tripped over this huge stick and basically scraped up my entire body. The owner of the dog happened to be nearby and caught the dog before it got to me.

After my presentation, my professor said that my scar was distracting and I should try my best to cover it up…. in front of the whole class. So I got a nice emotional scar to go along with it, lol. At least I got an A :) .

Most memorable scar story is when my teenage daughter climbed onto the bathroom vanity to reach something. She fell and scraped a 14 inch strip off the front of her shin from a drawer that was slightly open. It was very upsetting to think she would have such a large scar. It took quite a few years to fade.

All my scars are memorable from the birth of my daughter to the back surgery scar on my stomach to most recent the breast reduction. I think all scars tell a story about different chapters of my life. This is a great product even if you don’t win. I would highly suggest you purchase some as it has done everything it says it can do.

I have a scar on my face from a dog bite and while it is my most memorable, it isn’t necessarily a good memory. :)

I had a parathyroidectomy a few years ago. I have a scar that practically goes from ear to ear on my neck. One of my sons said I could put a screw on either side of my neck and I would look like the bride of Frankenstein. Boys!

When I was 15 years old, I was driving my big brother’s new car and got into a car accident. I had braces at the time. The impact made my bite down on my tongue and severed it in half. Doctors had to surgially stitch back together and I still have the scar today at 41 years old.
