Enter To Win: DermStore’s Oscar Giveaway

Hollywood’s biggest night—The Academy Awards—is just days away now. And while I look forward to the event every year (I love watching all my favorite starlets make their arrivals on the red carpet), this year I’m EXTRA amped. Why? Because Beth and I are going to enjoy the red carpet like neither of us ever has, from the bleachers located right in front of the Kodak Theatre in Hollywood, where the event takes place. Did you know that every year, more than 100,000 people apply to sit in those bleachers, which can accommodate just 700? Yeah—we’re lucky! (Special thanks to JC Penney for extending the invite.) Not to mention thrilled we’ll be able to keep all your readers up to speed on all the glorious fashion and beauty in real time.

More awesome news: in honor of this year’s program, DermStore is hosting an INCREDIBLE blog giveaway! Seriously, I’ve seen the prizes and they’re so amazing, I wish I were eligible to enter. Best of all, there will be not one, but FIVE winners. All you have to do to enter is leave a comment below letting us know who you think should win for Best Actress in a leading role. We’ll select the winners from there. As if that weren’t enough, we’ll also be doing some giveaways on Twitter!

Don’t forget to check our blog, Twitter and Facebook pages Sunday, February 26! The Red Carpet madness begins at 3 p.m. PST.

Congrats to our Oscar Giveaway Winners!

1.) Bekah Berge for Viola Davis

2.) Kelly S for Michelle Williams

3.) Nicole Berger for Meryl Streep

4.) Kathy Handerhan for Rooney Mara

5.) Golgiroo for Glenn Close

Thanks to all for participating! We hope you enjoyed seeing all the glam on the red carpet from the 2012 Academy Awards!

Rooney Mara should win, she did an exceptional job in The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo. Although I have not seen all the other movies with other actresses in it, I can say that for a young woman to play such a role so well is impressive! I definitely look up to the character of lizbeth (yes, even her flaws) and Rooney herself!

Viola Davis definitely deserves the Oscar! Everyone else nominated have had to take off their clothes, at least once in their career, to be noticed, meanwhile Viola was able to connect with an audience through her performance, not her body. Let’s restore some decency to Hollywood!
