Exploring Olive Oil

Whoever thinks that olive oil is strictly for cooking is missing out on the amazing benefits one gets from using this ingredient in skin care; people often shave with olive oil to prevent razor burn and dry skin. I have used olive oil to remove eye makeup, especially water-proof mascara. I also use it on my legs to give them more of a shiny look. Fortunately for many of us, DermStore now carries OLIVELLA , this brand brings us a complete skin and body line, using premium pure Italian virgin olive oil.

A week ago I was able to get my hands on what has become one of my new must-have products: Moisturizer Cream by Olivella, it contains natural ingredients, anti-aging properties, antioxidants and it is paraben free! For years I have been trying different moisturizers and I’m usually very cautious about doing that because I tend to break out easily. I usually select moisturizers that are specifically designed for dry skin but these tend to clog my pores leading to breakouts (most likely these are very heavy). This moisturizer is designed to appear like a cream but feels like a gel, it feels very light on my skin and it is exactly what I was looking for in a moisturizer during the summer months. It leaves my skin smooth and it is an excellent product to use under makeup! Another great thing about this product is that it is so light that I can apply sunscreen without feeling like I have layers and layers of products on my skin.

Some people might be concerned about the scent. I understand that most of us are looking for fragrance free products, if that’s the case, I wouldn’t recommend this product for you. However, if scent is the least of your worries and you actually enjoy a product that smells fabulous then you must try this one! The only thing I would change about this product is that I wish it would offer sun protection, so always remember to use a sunscreen during the day.
