Goldfaden’s Red Tea Anti-Aging Giveaway

Goldfaden Skincare products are made up of both organic and natural ingredients developed by celebrity dermatologist Dr. Gary Goldfaden to address skin concerns of all ages. The result is a skincare line that rejuvenates your skin while preventing the re-occurrence of skin damage.  Goldfaden products provide effective clinical results offering the powerful riches of natural botanicals combined with the most superior medical technologies.

The antioxidant powers of Organic Red Tea provide the foundation for Dr. Goldfaden’s skincare line. Studies have found that Red Tea provides 50 X the antioxidant power of Green Tea and Goldfaden employs this organic antioxidant in its purest form. Red Tea, or Roobis has been grown on the mountains of Cape Town, South Africa for centuries. Long-respected by native South Africans and studied by South African scientists as a daily source of powerful nutrients, Organic Red Tea contains an extremely high concentration of SOD (Super Oxide Dimutase) which provides an ultra-protective barrier from oxidative damage, functioning as a prime scavenger of the free radicals that contribute to your skin’s aging process.

Our latest giveaway includes the Goldfaden Red Tea Anti-Aging Starter Kit (4 piece) valued at $75. I spent a lot of time around my grandparents even into my mid adult life. Both lived to a good age. My grandmother would tell me to stay out of the sun. She did a lot of walking and my grandfather always told me to exercise and eat a well balanced diet. I have incorporated their tips into my life and now have a lively grand daughter of my own that I’ll pass these tips along to. I always believe in taking good care of my skin and use age appropriate skin care products.

Staying young is a mindset. Genetics have a lot to do with how we age ,however not smoking or drinking too much alcohol and staying out of the direct sun are the most important things I believe that truly make a difference. I drink a lot of tea and so did my mother and she lived to 93. We always thought she looked young for her age but didnt realize she was 7 years older and lied about it for 60 years .

I want to look like 25 for 20 years! That’s my goal and first of all ,i force myself sleep before midnight every day because no skincare is better than sleeping! Sunscreen is essential all year around, i put quarter size of sunscreen every single day. And i always drink one cup of warm water after i wake up. i eat a lot of fruit and veggi. And i rarely touch my face.

My mom told me one thing my whole life – Sunscreen! She used to send me to school with it and force the teachers to apply it at recess! I have to admit, I’m not complaining now! These days I use sunscreen and heavy moisturizers every day even in the winter. And I use high quality makeup because it’s basically like skincare.

I have been using facial products since my 20′s back when there was typically Nozema and I now use the IQ Derma products and I love them. I drink tons of water everyday and eat yogurt and bananas every other morning along with daily balanced meals. Plenty of sunscreen and facial masks are a must atleast one every weekend. I also think attitude is key. A positive attitude shows all over!! When you take care of your skin, you feel so much better all the way around.

Weight training is definitely the fountain of youth! Being strong makes me FEEL young, even when I’m not looking in the mirror. And for when I AM looking in the mirror, A.M. sunscreen every day, P.M. prescription retinol most days, annual chemical peels really do the trick.

I achive this by eating a balanced diet, drinking plenty of water and using beauty products that have at least a 15 spf. My two best beauty tips are clean and massage your face twice a day and cut the tube containers open when you can nolonger get product out of them and you will find at least 3 more day supply which will save you money and achive a feeling of success.

The best thing you can do for your body to stay young is destressing! Meditation, facial massages, relaxing facials etc. Everday stress triggers our facial muscles to frown and squint which causes those nasty lil fine lines and wrinkles! I exfoliate with a light glycolic peel once every two weeks and use a moisturizer with a spf 30. But the stress factor is what I try to remember. So I take a deep breath, and relax my face and body. I do so much to sustain my youth both inside & out. Skinwise, I use a high ppd sunscreen everyday, I use a Vitamin C serum, I exfoliate twice a week with glycolic acid pads, Every 6 months I get a series of chemical peels, usually Lactic Acid, I use a retinol product for both my face and eye area. I do cardio workouts as well as strength train 4-5x a week, I drink lots of water, I eat foods high in antioxidants and I take Vitamin D, Fish Oil and B vitamins. The most important is that I spend quality time wih my children.

I am 46 yrs young.. yes YOUNG, how I chosse to look at it, age is a # and you CAN defy it if you want..Its not just in taking care of your skin, but in your atttitude, and how you live your daily life. Try to keep stress at a minimum, get plenty of sleep, use proper skincare(no harsh cleansers that make your face feel tought, but comfortable, toner, no alcohol, proper moisturizer for your skintype, use your sunscreen daily! winter or summer etc,, yr round! and don’t forget to EXFOLITATE! get rid of that dead skin! can age you big time!!.2x a wk is best for most, gentle non abrasive kind, and proper night treatment.. dont forget!! Nite is the most important time for your skin. While you sleep your skin goes into cell renewal and best time to use your age creams(Vit A especailly ones.)and dont forget the eyes!! they need their OWN seperate cream.. skin their is thinner..Also don’t forget your A, C and E.. and take your vitamins.. yes nourish your skin from the inside out too!.And don’t forget your hair!! nourish it as well..proper haircare for your hair type, dont’ wash too frequently, especially colored hair..deep conditioners, cuts, etc..hair can be another age killer..
Exercise at least 3x a wk and do some cardio too. Gets the blood pumping for circulation..eat proper diet, fruits, vegatbeles, lean meats..and Smile..and be happy..don’t be afraid of laugh lines..Age gracefully and live well..

I think eating a lot of fruit and vegies is the way to go not so much meat as I am older it is hard to break the habit of not eating meats but, I do pretty good more of what is needed as vegies and fruits go better for you. I think keeping lotion on ones hands lotion or creams on ones face but, all of us are not as fortunate as others I have aged not gracefully but, am trying different products to see how well they work not good so far but, still trying. If you are still young eat right, exercise when you can, walk instead of driving a car when allowable. Keep lotions, sunscreens whatever it takes to minimizes the havoc that weather, stress, not eating right can bring upon your body.

Staying young and healthy for me includes walking ( and talking) with good friends, learning a new sport- skiing- with my husband, hiking, swimming and yoga.

Of course – creams and lotions and moisturizers and diet and sunscreen etc. BUT I did and will do Juvederm injections in wrinkles around the mouth (used to have deep ones – now not a single one), professional peelings and in-home ones (regularly use peeling and you will see the difference!), red light therapy and mesotherapy – and in my 31 year people think I’m 22! Yes it’s all expensive but better don’t spend on that dress or shoes and do your skin a favor of treating it to an in-salon procedure. Also please save some money on an expensive cream, like La Mer or Orlane – it works miracles and is much better to have one expensive and working one then 5 bottles of cheaper lotions. And let’s stay forever young :)

I have been using anti aging eye and fact cream since the age of 25, don’t make funny faces or frown and smoked cannibus for 30 years! I think all measures combined including having lots of stress released via sexual intercourse with my husband as many times a day as we could, have helped me to look as young as I do and I eat lots of veggies too.

Staying young can be achieved many ways : Genetics do play a role but attitude and how you live add to the environmental impact. Most of us do the usual such as sunscreen, healthy eating , no smoking and no or limited alcohol. Besides these important factors, keeping a positive outlook during life’s ups and downs ,having a beautiful famly and helping those in need are what keeps me young in spirit. Oh and a Red Tea starter kit is the icing on the face !!!!

To stay young(er) – I have always taken good care of my skin, adjusting the routine to the changes in my skin. I use petroleum jelly on my eyelids to protect them – & use a dab of witch hazel beneath my eye cream. I wear moisturizer with sunscreen, and when in the sun – wear hats/visors – or even use a parasol! I get lots of sleep, take all my vitamins – eat fresh foods, and drink lots of water. I also sleep on a slippery round pillow – and I do the cat first thing every morning to keep my spine flexible. (among other exercises & yogic stretches). I walk as much as I can.

Tea, tea, tea! I love drinking tea! I think there’s no better way to stay young than to drink a few cups of tea a day. I prefer warm tea, specially jasmine or chamomile but a cold, lemon zest, honey chamomile tea in the evenings is hard to resist. And of course, best of all, if you have a little leftover tea (almost impossible, so try to make a bit extra!) use it as a compress, soak some cotton pads and you’re done; I even use green tea as a toner or refresher. To this add a gooooood facial every now and then with my crystalift machine and some good natural products to compliment. Bon appetit!

I’m 57 and I walk daily- to the store and I walk the dogs or I take my baby nephew out in his stroller–for about a half hour’s walk.
I never liked the sun much so still don’t get much of that.
Can’t tolerate sunscreen so I walk in late afternoon, early morning or at night or carry a parasol..:-)
I always use cold cream to cleanse my face–never soap.
I drink 8 glasses of water every day, take a vitamin and mineral tablet, use a progesterone cream (I’m post-menopausal) eat lots of fruit and never smoked.(didn’t like it, so I’m lucky!)
    Oh, I don’t drink either..but it’s because I can’t metabolize it–still it works for me healthwise.;-)
Most folks think I’m about 10 or 15 yrs younger–though I finally see lines and wrinkles starting–but that’s OK too.
    I’m 57, not 27.:-).

For starters Plenty of water and excercise always helps me feel strong and healthy. It also helps the skin because of sweating takes out any impurities inside your body. Since I don’t eat fruits as much as I should I try to consume vitamin C and take a Multi Vitamin + herbs + Minerals as a dietary supplement.
I wash with Clinique liquid soap for mild skin & then let it dry I then apply a tonic to clean any extra dirt with a cotton swab, which also helps exfoliate the skin. And for best results I use a serum which is best left alone for a minute before adding a moisture lotion with SPF15 and at night time I use a all night hydrating cream and Retinol for under eyes. But I wouldn’t mind trying something different a little bit of change never hurt anyone :)

First let me say thank you for this opportunity to win, my birthday is on April 11th and I will be 56 years young, I eat alot of organic foods and also I use organic products on my skin. To keep young I have always been a very active woman, sking, both water and snow, I run around 5 to 8 miles every night, I always wake up at 1am and take my 2 dogs running with me, then I come home and exercise, I will do certain parts of my body one night and switch the next night. I think diet and excerise is extremely important for a long life. After I finish exercising, I lay on the couch and put two slices of organic cumcumbers on my eyes and meditate for a 1/2 hour then I shower with organic products, I have always felt that it is not only what you put in your body, also what you put on your body. To have the chance to win Dr. Goldfaden’s Red Tea Anti-Aging product would be an awesome birthdy present to me, again, thank you and have a healthy and happy week.

I really believe that fresh air and sunshine are key to staying young. A walk with the dogs or a dedicated run for exercise OUTSIDE are so refreshing and uplifting. Vitamin D from the suns’ rays is an especially important benefit of being outside (of course, an appropriate SPF for face and body is needed). Let’s see… where to start. I’m 55 and people say I look about 40. I even get late thirties sometimes.. but who knows, they could have poor vision.
Believe it or not, I started using alpha hydroxy acids in my twenties. I had a friend who was an esthetician and she was my skin care consultant. She also knew tons about vitamins and natural healing and I would just do what she told me to do. I’ve always read about skincare and health. I’ve gone through my phases of DMAE and ____I forget what the ingredients were at the time. I’ve used coffeeberry products, idebenome products, retin-A, vitamin c… etc….
I eat really well, no sugar, no alcohol or drugs. I don’t do the sun anymore. I’ve done enough baking for a lifetime.
I try new things.. I’m currently in law school. I’ve done tons of different kinds of work… whatever pulls me and moves my spirit.
I’ve been doing yoga for about 40 years… wow.. I learned in my teens.
I’m a seeker of helpful things for my mind and body.
I didn’t even start a family till I was 38. and I had my daughter at 41. It’s never too late to have a happy childhood or adulthood.
Part of its gentic, part of it is skin products and healthy living.
My parents are in their 80′s and they look great. My mother is a firm believer in Retin-A and has been using it for years. She looks like she is 65.
    I wear make-up very infrequently.
I guess it’s about living life to the fullest. Age has never stopped me and never will…..

To stay young, I laugh and smile as much as possible. I look for beauty and love in life. I’m always responsible but sometimes leave practicality behind in favor of spontanaity. Skipping, jumping, spinning, rolling & running are all musts. (I also try to drink plenty of water and can always use more, get plenty of rest, exercise & eat a balanced diet, & another must is sunscreen) Live, love & laugh!

I stay young at 47 by playing tennis 3-5 times a week with my kids. I also have a very youthful complexion and high energy because of my juicer. There is no better way than juicing to get all your vitamina and minerals for the day.

To stay young is to feel young inside! I will never let go of the kid in me!!! Along with that, I laugh a lot. I think that brings out an inner glow and radiance. I have a daily skin regimen both morning and night. Wear my sunscreen! Very important as I am in my 40′s now. Make my own homemade face mask with egg whites and use it once a week to deep clean my pores. Make sure to get plenty of sleep, take morning and evening walks(boosts oxygen and circulation). Drink copious amounts of water and take my Vitamin C and E daily. Lastly, I don’t sweat the small stuff!!!!

For her entire life, my mother used no makeup or skincare. I decided in high school that I was going to take good care of my skin to avoid my mother’s premature facial lines and wrinkles. I’ve been using eye cream, mosturizer, facial masks and a good cleansing product since then. My life has been enhanced and energized by having friends that are my age as well as much younger and much older.

To stay young I first recognize that good health plays a major role. I do drink plenty of water, eat healthy nutritious meals, and supplement with a multivitamin in addition to vitamins that support healthy skin, hair and nails. I also exercise and only use skincare products made from natural botanicals;but most importantly I keep a positive outlook and maintain a healthy lifestyle with as little stress as possible and I also meditate.

I am now over 40 and last July started using pure Shea Butter. Over a few weeks it erased the lines on my neck I was starting to get and “crows feet” what are they?? It is in it’s PURE form so you are not able to just get it anywhere. Prior to discovering that, I have always avoided sun on my face, even with sunblock, I will even still cover my face! That’s what darker makeup is for for any blending and the Shea butter puts a beautiful shine on your skin while completely restoring it! I love the natural products and am now one month into using Smartlash, it’s natural and isn’t going to change the pigment of my skin like another product out there! Staying natural with Dermstore for your products is one I have just discovered and like everyone else…WATER! It’s all a necessity when living in the South, you can’t avoid the sun completely but there are ways to beat it!

As part of my skincare regime, I always cleanse the skin and apply anti-wrinkle serum, eye cream, moisturizer, and sun protection. I combined vitamins, fruits, and vegetables into my daily intake. I make sure I drink lots of water and green tea, while staying away from soda and alcohol.

On a bi-weekly basis I incorporate a egg mask (loaded with proteins) and a facial scrub.

If I apply make-up, I make sure it’s mineral base and doesn’t clog my pores.
