How to Get Stronger Nails

My own strong, healthy nails

For me, hands and nails are a very important part of our appearance. They usually are one of the first things that people notice about us. Keep in mind that stronger nails don’t grow overnight; they take dedication to achieve. I don’t know about you, but when I get a manicure, not only do my nails look amazing, but I feel more confident, like I’m ready to conquer the world. I feel beautiful, and it changes my appearance. Why not have this feeling every day? I get compliments on my nails on a daily basis, and I want to share my nail care tips with you on how to get stronger nails.

Start by changing your nail polish every week using a non-acetone remover; this type of formulation prevents your nails from drying. Nowadays you can purchase non-acetone nail polish removers with ingredients to help condition and protect your healthy nails. A personal favorite is the Non-Acetone Remover by Nailtiques.

When it comes to cutting or filing your nails, I prefer to file them. If you are planning on cutting or trimming them, make sure you do it after you have soaked your nails in water, or better yet, after a shower.

I used to have acrylic nails, and when I decided I was done with them, I had a hard time getting my natural real healthy nails back. I started using Protein Formula 2 by Nailtiques, and the look of my nails improved in about 3 weeks. I still use this product in between every polish change.

Another one of my nail care tips: you should always keep your nails moisturized. If you use a hand cream, make sure to include your nails and cuticles, because we wouldn’t want them feeling left out. You should also consider using a nail conditioner such as the Nail Conditioner by Elon.

And last but not least, supplements. It has been proven that Biotin is one of the Vitamins That Promote Healthy Nails, improving nail strength and quality. My favorite supplement for stronger nails is Matrix 5,000 by Elon.
