Best beauty tip: Never let anyone tell you that you aren’t beautiful.

Once you have that self confidence, you have inner AND outer beauty.

Along with the usual…drink lots of water, get lots of sleep and never date a cowboy. (only kidding about the cowboy)

No.1 thing use broadspectrum SPF 30, never too late to start. Reseach proves it. Second thing antioxidant serum to protect against uv rays and free radicals.
My mom told me stay out of the son, and make my children do the same.

To keep the skin soft and healthy, was gently with very warm water and then apply a very thin covering of pure olive oil. Lie back for a few minutes to let the warm skin soak up the oild, and then gently wipe off excess with warm cloth. Do this before bed and let the skin rest.
Still works for me, 50 years later!

My mother had beautiful skin, right up until the time she died (way too young) at age 57. I have used many expensive products, but always relied on her Jergens cream with the pink lid, and the three ladies on the label. Now that I am over 70, people still comment on my skin. On a visit to my 80 year old sister in Florida, I discovered that she also used the pink lidded jar! Thanks, Mom.

BAck when I was growing up, we didn’t know how damaging the sun was to the skin. All we knew was of sunburn. Well my mother, twin brother and myself didn’t burn. We just tanned, darker, and darker.

My mom died last Dec. and she said she wished she had never been a sun worshiper. I used to be a reporter and journalist. So I started to research on topical ways for anti-aging and agre repair products. The number one product you need to use every day is a broad-spectrum sunscreen of 30. Next an antioxidant serum. That the two most important things to do for anti-aging topical products.

My mother always tells me to get enough sleep so I won’t look tired, also eat healthy and drink fresh fruit and vegetable juices so that my skin and hair will look health and shiny. Also not to use too much maacara because it can damage my eyelashes.

The best beauty tip i received from my mother was to use Lemon Juice for my face. For healthy hair to use Mayonaise. I thought she was crazy, but it worked.

    Thanks Mom (R.I.P)

I was raised to always wear a hat in the sun, and moisturize! I’ve done so religiously since I was little, it’s good advice everyone should follow:)

I know I have posted before about my mom dieing and researching anti-aging/age repair products. But it is all true I had never worn a SPF until my mom died. I also didn’t say I am in poor health and it shows in my skin. My skin is dry, dull, some wrinkles and sagging. I can’t control things with my health but I can control how my face and neck learn. I would really love to look bright, hydrated, with less wrinkles and sagging. Winning this contest would mean a lot to me.

The best advice I ever got from my mom is to ALWAYS moisturize my declate. And, of course, to follow it up by sunscreen when going outside in this Florida’s scorching sunshine!
